We are the Spartans and we have an outstanding group of students on our Speech and Debate team!

Tournaments throughout the nation are now allowing students to prepare and compete using technology to store their research instead of enormous tubs of articles and data. Unfortunately the students at Murray High School are at a distinct disadvantage. While other students are carrying around sleek computers, ours still haul tubs to and from their rounds.

This is understandably discouraging for us. We are a very hardworking and impressive group of young people (if we do say so ourselves :) and we wish to be better equipped to encourage what we do. Speech and Debate is not an organization that receives much attention or praise for it's efforts and successes in general, let alone funding. Please help our team meet it's goal so that we might be able to compete and receive the academic and competitive recognition that we deserve!
