I work at a STEM school that has currently been selected to be a BYOT (Bring Your Own Technology) pilot school in our county. My classroom has been selected to be one of the first classrooms to launch on this exciting endeavor! While I have a few concerns over what this will look like in my classroom, the thing that worries me most is that students in my classroom do not have their own technology to make this great idea a success. This is where you come in...I would like to fundraise enough money so that I may purchase 10 Nexus 7 tablets for my classroom to use and share. This additional technology in my classroom would make so many amazing lessons possible for my students. They could participate in online classroom polls, blog their classwork, create videos, and so much more!
