The students are going to be learning about British Literature. What they don't realize is that the community in that era resembles many things of today. Social injustice, sexism, racism, and a fight to be heard by people of all ages. With the money donated, I will purchase iPads and allow them to create a classroom blog. On that blog they'll submit their journal entries at least twice a week. I find that when other people are able to hear their voices, even it they want it to be anonymous, it boosts their confidence in themselves, and their work! We will also use the iPads for an array of classroom activites! Even if you choose not to donate, thank you for taking the time see what's happening in our classroom.
