Dickenson County has been in severe poverty due to the coal mines closing throughout the last 30 years. Our school system does not have the tax base to buy all of the classrooms laptops or tablets and those that are purchased are used in the English or Math rooms. Even those are aging and having to be replaced.

I need technology that I can use every day for interactive lessons. I would love to ask the students a science question and have them answer on their device or have the students draw on a device and be able to share it on the projector. I currently do not have a smart board or any working polling device and with the budget issues in the county it is limiting the activities that I can do with the children. Please help me in getting technology in my classroom. It isn't fair to leave this kids behind because they are poor.
