Digital cameras (Flip Cameras would be nice) in the classroom for family literacy projects and I-search projects in the reading comprehension curriculum. The students photograph or film literacy occuring in their homes and neighborhoods.

This lesson assists students in recognizing personal literacy practices and recognizing multiple literacies.
