Week 1- Students select subject for their project. Notate all that is known by student.
Students will begin research on internet web-sites to find information on
their topics. Wikipedia will not be recognized as a resource.
Week 2-After locating three resources, students will begin summarizing information.
Students will begin working on outlines in order to put their information
in order.
Week 3-Students will turn in rough draft of their outlines. Teacher will ask
questions to invoke higher level thinking skills.
Week 4- Begin transferring information from Microsoft Word to Microsoft
Power Point slides.
Edit for misspelled words and grammatical errors.
Resource page checked for correct entiries.
Begin to create the invitqation flyer for administrators and parents.
Week 5- Final copies of project turned in.
Presentation to classroom students, administrators, and parents.
Question & answer session.

The science project is to induce students to use higher level critical thinking skills.
