Students are asked to first look at several different types of newscasts and brainstorm what a newscast contains. (Breaking News, Weather, Sports, Events of the Week)

After this students will join a team and create scripts for each area.

These scripts will be used as a guideline for filming the school announcements.

Students will then take the flipvideo camera and record themselves "on air"

Footage will then be downloaded and edited using software on school computers.
Follow-Up
Students will watch playback and creat a plus delta chart, and solicit feedback from their peers for future episones.
