1. Students will review the colors in Spanish (2 minutes).
2. Each student (or you may divide them in pairs) will be assigned a color (rojo, azul, negro, blanco, verde, rosado, morado, gris, etc.) The teacher will explain that they are going to be creating their own film today by using the camera to film objects in the classroom that show their assigned color. (3-5 minutes).
3. Students will take turns using the flip camera to film their color in the classroom by finding 3 separate objects around the room that are that color. The teacher will facilitate as necessary to help the student. Other students will help them by cheering them on as they find the items in the classroom to film. (Approximately 3-5 minutes per student).
4. The teacher will take the videos and mount them onto a DVD for viewing in the next class period. (10-15 minutes).
Comments
This is a great lesson because it gets the kids involved and helps them to remember the colors so much more quickly and easily.
