1. Students will determine the age of the person they are interviewing and research various historical event that may have occurred during the person's lifetime. Students also want to pay close attention to event that may have occurred and affected the interviewee when they were in high school.
2. Students will then create a number of questions for the assignment. These questions should be approved by the teacher before interview.
3. Student will practice both good and bad inteview techniques in the classroom before actually doing their interview.
4. Students will then interview the person they have chosen and videotape the interview.
5. Students will edit the video and make changes as needed for classroom presentation.
6. Students will write a paragraph reflecting on the information they have learned through the interview and the impact it has had on their life. |

Cross-Curriculum Ideas |
This would be an excellent project for a history class to use also. For instance, students could study a certain event in history and interview someone concerning that event. |
