Planned By: Jeff Novak
Original Author: Jeff Novak, Greenford
1. Students will look at and discuss some famous caricatures from political cartoons.

2. Students will research a historical figure. They will note 5 character traits as well as their historical importance.

3. Students will draw caricatures of their figure depicting their importance as well as 5 important traits in exaggerated features.

4. Students will then record a 1-2 minute presentation on their figure.

The presentations will be put into mp3 format and will then be downloaded on itunes and placed on an mp3 player. Work samples will be hung in the gallery and labeled with a track number that corresponds with the presentation. Students and visitors will be able to borrow a loaded player and tour the gallery, stopping to listen to presentations/tracks for the caricatures they would want to listen to.

5. Students will tour the gallery and listen to presentations on their player. They will complete a critique guide on at least 5 works.
