Sharing Poetry

Each week, the children are introduced to a new poem. The poem is used to reinforce various reading skills as well as oration.
I would like to videotape children reading the poems and send them to parents using the Flip Software. The software allows you to put the video into a "postcard" format and email it to parents.
I think this would be a wonderful home and school connection. Parent love to see what their children do at school and children love to show their parents. Most parents work and can not get into the classroom, so this would give them a chance to be there, virtually.
