Student first year vocabulary associated with dragsters and cars.

Students will draw a dragster in 1mm graph paper within specific measurements,

The design is then copied and the general shape of the car cut out. A band saw or similar device is used to cut out the general shape of the car.

Students then sand the care so that edges are smooth for painting.

The dragster is painted and wheels are added.

Screw eyes are affixed to the bottom of the car in order for them to fit the race track.

The finished dragsters are race in class.
