Math is All Around Us

1. Students will use the flip video to capture pictures of objects around the school that show math vocabulary. (Example a trash can is a cylinder).

2. The video will be downloaded into the flip video program.

3. Several videos will be taken to find ample math vocabulary.

4. Different grades will concentrate on their particular vocabulary.

5. Make a title screen and put the caption "Math is all around Us".

6. Record voice narration of each grade level video.

7. Add captions to label the video and time it to come in with the voice narration.

8. Add transitions if necessary.

9. Add music (optional).

10. Burn to CD to be presented to other grade levels, classes or taken home.

11. Will also be used for presentation on white boards during class.
