Comments
I will find a document camera on EBAY with a limited budget. We really need the camera for my students to have the most success this year. I teacher 1st grade students. About 1/3 of the students in my school are English as a Second Language. We host refugee students who are new to the country. A document camera would truly enhance their education on a daily basis. We would use the camera for nearly every lesson. As a teacher, I have used a document camera at previous schools, and see a huge difference in my students' success when a document camera is used.
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
This will be extremely beneficial for teaching reading and writing to my ESL students. We teach refugee students that come in the Cincinnati. Our school is in great need for a document camera.
Follow-Up
We will continue to write letters and stories using the document camera to the the students how to form letters. It is vital for ESL students to see what is happening. This allows for them to full understand the lesson, even if they cannot completely understand the language.
