This lesson requires a flip video camera. Videos and photos will be taken of various signs in our community (stop sign, walk, don't walk, exit etc.) showing a real life representation of what they mean (a car stopping at the stop sign, students crossing the street when the sign turns to walk etc). This will help students get a better understanding of these signs and what they mean.

Watching the videos, and creating a photo album or scrapbook of pictures. Students will also draw pictures of the signs they've seen in the community.
