Biography comic strip

Aim – to produce a comic strip about a notable person in history

Objectives:
The students will
o Produce an informational report based on information gathered from the internet
o Use the Comic Life program to create a comic strip using the information and images gathered from the internet

Materials : laptops, paper, printer, safari/ internet explorer

Procedure:
o The students will choose a person in history , and find the following information:
Full name, date of birth, notable achievements, impact on the world, famous quote if applicable

o They will then organize their information and 6 to 8 images and input it into a comic template from Comic life using voice balloons and text boxes

o They will print their brochures

Assessment: the students will be given a 16 point rubric by which they will be graded
Materials: Mobile Labs, Printers, Authoring and Publishing, Speech and Language
