Find an historical figure that interests you.
Begin your reserach: find key facts about childhood, adulthood, and what they are
famous for.
Plan your paper using a graphic organizer.

Week 2
Create a timeline that will be used as a prop during the museum
Begin the writing process for an expository paper

Week 3
Prepare a speech to be used during the Wax Museum
Finish research paper on your historical figure

Week 4
Prepare for Wax Museum
Record and video's to be used during the museum.
Create any power point presentation to be show during museum
Showtime: Wax Museum for parents and school. Video's will be recorded of Wax
Museum and posted on school and grade level's website.

Research paper will count toward the North Carolina's required writing sample for 4th grade.

My class in an inclusion class and I have 2 students with Autism. I have several students with learning disabilities and hands on ways like video recording is most helpful for them.
