Students will perform various physics activities such as investigating potential and kinetic energy using a bouncing ball, calculating speed of competitors in a "walk" race, and investigating the various factors that make a model car travel farther.

While students are performing these activities, their classmates will use the Flip Video cameras to record the events. The students will act as they are reporters for a news network and are covering the games for the viewers. While the games are taking place, the reporters will give a detailed play by play of the action.

In the end, students will present their news reports to the class along with the scientific results of their investigations.
