Calss #1-
Students will form groups of 3-4.
Students will then pick a story out of a list of stories provided.
Students will write a script that will either retell the story in their own words or create a sequel to the story.
Students will also create props or costumes for their retelling.
Class #2-
Students will practice and then film their retelling/sequel of the story on the Flip camera.
Class #3-
Once completed, students will present their films to their classmates. We will then discuss the similarites or differences to the actual story and the retold story.
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
Work with the art teacher for props/costumes. Work with the classroom teacher to help on writing scripts.
