This lesson will require students to go out into the neighborhood and video graffiti that has been created outside the law on public and personal property. They will include in these videoes interviews with the artists without their names or faces being shown since their work is unlawful. During these interviews students will ask a series of pre-determined questions about their work and why they choose the outside world as their canvas. When they bring the videoes back to class we will discuss their points of views and try to discover a way we can help to make their art work more acceptable to the public.
