Students will create a rap group and rap video that includes and teaches any Algebra i concept. Each student group will name their group and script the rap lyrics. The groups will select music and develop a dance routine along with the music and lyrics.

The lyrics, music, and dance will be recorded.

Projects will be graded as follows (taken from Rubric):

You must turn in
the lyrics on paper
double spaced.
Make sure all
names of people in
your group are on
the paper.

your rap song
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
Curriculum will be judged by Music Department for effort.
Follow-Up
Students will learn each others videos to learn the Algebraic concpts.
