Please access all the information about our Hatching Project at www.spartanpride.org/hatching. I conduct 4 videoconferences throughout this project to different schools in New York and also in the United States. The lessons are on life cycle, egg parts, oviparous animals, differences between wild and tame, hatching process and much more. Our "flock friend" classrooms that we videoconference with if they are within driving distance visit on Hatching Day where we have many collaboration projects for them while they are here on their visit. This project gets everyone involved in our school. We also stream a live hatchcam and a duck pond cam after hatching that students, staff, public can watch at home 24:7. A copy of our videoconference flyer, lessons plans and projects can be seen at the above website. The uses for the flip cams would be for students to use them to record backgrounds for the visual communicator projects, videos on "My Favorite Hatchling" - creative writing project. Many other projects would incorporate the use of these flip cameras. |
