Students will first choose a specific class of people (monarchy, clergy, serfs, nobles) to research. The students will be required to fill out the informational sheet to guide their research (5 questions) and assist them in citing their sources.

Once the students have their research finished they will work with other members of the class to create a script for a newscast. Each person will write their own script that is specific to the person that they have researched.

When the scripts are finished and have been approved by the teacher then the group of students will start planning their newscast and the props that will be needed in order to perform the newscast and for it to be accurate for the middle ages period.

Once they have finalized the plans for their newscast and have practice it several times to work out timing the students will then schedule a time to record their newscast with their teacher.

The teacher will then grade the students, not only on their procedures to get to the finished product, but on the newscast itself using a rubric.
