Materials needed: Flip Videos, notebook paper, Spanish notes, large construction paper for use as cue cards, markers

Objective: Students will use basic personal description vocab, the verbs ser and gustar to tell about themselves. This is a culmination of several chapters that they have studied. Tell students that they can be themselves or a famous person for their video.

1. Break students into groups of 3
2. Students will be told to include the following in their dating video:

Name, 2 physical descriptions, 2 personality descriptions, 2 things they like to do, 1 thing they do not like to do, their age, and their birthday. All must be in Spanish.

3. Students will write down their script on a piece of paper. With the help of their partner and teacher they will edit it for correct grammar and spelling.

4. After their script is OK ed by the teacher, they will write it on a cue card.

5. After the 3 members of each group have finished their scripts and cue cards, they will practice saying their "speech". With the help of their partners and teacher they will pronounce the words correctly.

6. After students have practiced, they will be able to use the classroom, stairwell, locker bay or hallway to record their videos. Group member 1 records with the flip video, group member 2 holds the cue cards and group member 3 says their script. Students rotate jobs.

7. Watch the videos and enjoy!
