Cocinemos (Let's Cook!)

After studying various native dishes in class students work individually or with a partner to create a cooking show. They must have a creative title for their show and speak in Spanish the entire time.

In the video, they must show the ingredients being used in the dish and tell the audience how much is used of each one. Next they tape themselves actually mixing things together and cooking the food. While cooking they must act like they are truly on a cooking show... talk about the weather, gossip, etc. They must also talk about the dish- where it comes from, when people eat it, etc. At the end of the video students must show the presentation of the dish and how to serve it.

On the due date students must turn in a copy of the recipe and also a copy of their script with the video.
