In groups of 2 or 3, students will brainstorm and create a detailed storyboard that illustrates the difference between being a thermostat or thermometer. After teacher approval of storyboard, students will record video scenes as illustrated in their storyboards. Upon completion of recording, students will import footage and edit movie using Final Cut Pro. Students will create any sound effects and music for their video using Garageband, and students will use Motion for introduction text and ending credits. Using iDVD, students will create a DVD of their final video to present to the class. Students will keep the digital file to include in their digital portfolios.
