Original Author: Marilyn Othon, Webster
Students will develop a plan to obtain video and photographs that show their life with their mother. Students will record stories of their mother's life and/or their life with their mother. Students will edit the video together with the still images to create an "Ed Burns" style documentary of their mother. The student will use the recorded stories to tell the story. Students will be required to write a script, create story boards, write their own music sound track and produce a final DVD. This will be reviewed and critiqued by teacher and staff and then the final DVD will be created after edits are complete.
