The students will use the tool factory software to create a newspaper from July 4th they will use the information they gather from these two web quests:

web quest focuses on three main areas they are:

Who wrote the Declaration of Independence?
Where the students would be able to get biographies of the founding fathers in order to write personal stories to go in the paper.

How was the Declaration of Independence written?
This part of the web quest will allow the students to get the inside scoop on where the Deceleration of Independence came from and how it was formed.

Why was the Declaration of Independence necessary?
This part of the web quest covers the importance of the Declaration of Independence and what impact it had on our country.

The
students will than write their opinion articles based on the facts from this website. This is where the positive and negatives of the Declaration of Independence are broken down for the students.

The students will than take the articles they write based on their research, and put them into the newspaper format and publish their own July 4, 1776 newspaper.
