Procedure:

1) Students will have already read and filled in class notes on the animals of the rainforest.

2) Teacher will go over with students and clarify any misunderstandings

3) Students will then read Ed Helper write up on Dart Frogs and discuss in groups a particular poison dart frog and focus on the life cycle of that frog. They will use the laptops for research with a partiuclar outline of notes for the frog.

4) Have them combine notes and discuss

Next Day

5)Have student groups work with model magic and create their own Poision Dart Frog. Have two of the students create a habitat for the life cycle and laying of eggs. Have one student create the frog, have the last member write a written report on their combined research.

6) When students have completed work have them create a Stop-Motion movie of their frog in their habitat to share with class.
