This project integrates art with reading and writing. My goal is to support the learning that is happening in the classroom. I will share several ABC books with the classes from our school and county library as an introduction. We will then brainstorm things around our school and sound them out and decide which letter of the alphabet they begin with.
I will then instruct students on how to use the cameras, making sure that each child will have a chance to take a photograph.
After pictures have been printed out, we will decide what letter the object starts with and label it for the class book.
