1. Students brainstorm all of the "Important Things" about being a successful 5th grader.
2. All the topics are divided up and given to partners.
3. Partners create a storyboard with the dialogue of their movie.
4. After approval of the storyboards, partners take pictures of each other engaged in the "Important Things" of 5th grade.
5. Next, the teams put their movies together with images, music and dialogue.
6. Finally, a DVD is created of the short films, shared with filmmakers and then shared to save with incoming 5th graders.
Materials: Flip Video, Point and Shoot, Digital SLR, Short Throw Projectors, Projector Screens, Camera/Video Accessories, Camera Bags, Flash/USB Drives, Batteries, Memory Cards, CDs and DVDs, Video Tools, Integrating Technology
