Students will be given three vocabulary words. In a video skit, they will need to demonstrate these three words in context. The skit should use the words cohesively and the plot of the skit should indicate the meaning of the words. Students will use any rudimentary form of video they have (i.e. cell phone, flip cam, digital camera with video feature or starndard camcorder.) In addition to the video, students will need to contribute three quiz questions that will help create a larger compilation test at the end of the unit. |

We approach this lesson in hopes of mimicking the Video Vocab lesson. We recognize that the creation of these videos in our classroom would be rudimentary compared to the vocabulary product available through Digital Wish. Our hope is to obtain the vocabulary system offered through Digital Wish in order to supplement our very basic attempt at a similar idea. |
Cross-Curriculum Ideas |
This lesson plan could be used for any curricular area.
