Use of technology in the classroom to produce compositions, create stories using animations, and write reports with details that technology can give.

Develop mastering writing texts, revising and editing.

Purposes:

Using technology, the students can easily develop strategies to write and make editions to create nice and attractive compositions, stories, poetry, etc.

Prior Knowledge:

When the students learn different programs to use in the writing process, they come familiar to use the keyboard and all the elements to write a formal paper like indent, capitalization, etc.

Input:

Brainstorm to create stories or compositions. The students will draw a chart for settings, characters and solutions.

Independent Practice:

The student will type a rough draft using good grammar and punctuation with the help of the program the student will be using, print the paper and the teacher will make corrections to the rough draft. The students will need to edit his/her work and proceed to do the final writing.

Closure:

Using a program –editor to be able to complete their writing to make corrections and be ready to publish the work done. Doing this, the student is demonstrating understanding to use technology to write story mapping, compositions and stories and being able to integrate animations, art clip and make their final work more attractive.

Assessment:

Teach the student how make mapping stories. The student will revise their sentences for any mistakes using the computer and the program to write compositions.

Develop word processing skills and completion of rough draft to write final paper to be published.
