Lesson Plan

After having discussed the rise of a consumer society in the 1920's, students will now pair up and create their own video advertisement for a product. Students are expected to apply some of the methods that advertisers use to get people to purchase the advertised product.
The product can be an existing product or something that the students make up. However, if it is an existing product then the advertisement must be original and not an advertisement that has or is currently being used.
Using a video camera or some other recording device, students are to create an advertisement that is to be 30 seconds to 1 minute in length.
