ESL

My ESL classes have 2-5 students per class. The levels of English in each class range from beginner (non-speakers, writers, and readers) to advance high (fluent speakers, readers, and writers). For this reason, my classes are centered on differentiated instruction, where each individual student’s specific skills are targeted at his/her level. Rossetta Stone® is a student driven program that allows English learners to learn in an interactive way. This program is recognized worldwide and has a very high success rate. It gives students the opportunity to listen to proper English, hearing the correct phonetic pronunciation of the words. This program would reach each student’s learning style.
My goal is to drastically improve their listening, speaking, writing and reading in English. I am confident that Rossetta Stone® would enhance the ESL program at Nederland High School.
