To begin the lesson, students will be presented with a question to spark their interest. At the bottom of the page will be a certain "hashtag" they will use to submit their answer on Twitter. Then, once everyone has completed the task, the teacher will search that hashtag in the search bar to bring up the answers.

Next, students will begin doing research on Twitter to see the exponential growth of a trending topic. They will see how fast the topic can grow. This also helps connect math to something they are comfortable with.
