Students will have completed a unit on So You Want to be President in the reading book. Discussion over who can be president, jobs of the presdient, and how you get elected will have been taking place during the unit.
1. Students will decide which president to research. 2. Students will use their devices to research information on the presdient of their choice. Students must use 3-4 different sites and create a bibliography of those sites. 3. Information will be typed into an outline on Google docs. or Word. 4. Students will then use the notes collected to write a 4 square graphic organizer. 5. Students will create a rough draft in Google docs or Word. (including pictures) 6. Students will share with a classmate to peer edit. 7. Students will edit their own copy. 8. A final copy will be created including title, 4 paragraph paper, pictures, and bibliography. |
