Community Based Instruction

Students will go to the drugstore and will have to locate several items on their list. These items are items that they found in the sales circular prior to going to the store. Students will have to figure out the money they need in order to buy the items on their list and the money they will have to spend in case they want any additional items. The student will have to figure out if they have received the correct amount of change back once the purchase is made.

Materials: Visuals of grocery items, calculator, store list, sales circular to locate items and write down the prices, money.
