Math Small Groups with Ipads

My students are in my math class for 90 minutes. We spend about 35 to 40 minutes working as a whole group doing cooperative learning techniques for the content that is needed to be taught that day. The remaining time I have small groups throughout my classroom. I have 6 stations that the students are to finish throughout the week. These stations are skills that are needed to be reviewed or have more practice on. I get this data from quizzes, homework, assignments, observation, and their data folders. The 7th station is with me on a topic they need more instruction on and guidance.

I hope to have an Ipad for each table so when the students have finished their station they can use the Ipad and the app that has all the common core standards with examples to use. This app has even more practices for the content that the students would need. I would have six tables so six Ipads all registered with the same app. Before the students begin the small groups I would set each Ipad up to that specific standard with more practice on the topic.

In 20 minutes when they rotate, the Ipads would stay at the tables, but the students would move to a new topic. When they complete there work at that new table they could practice more problems on the Ipad that is assigned there. This would hopefully help students be more motivated in completing there small groups activities and also bring out the students excitement for math.
