Assignment: Students will
A. Write the objective of the day in their notebooks.
B. Students will use the internet to access http://www.wordle.net/ to create a word cloud using the vocabulary in lesson 4-1

C. Students will create a PowerPoint slideshow to include the vocabulary located in lesson 4-1 that includes the definition and related photos on each slide.

D. Students will use the internet to log on to their email and access the link to an on-line assessment based on the vocabulary located in lesson 4-1. http://www.helpteaching.com/


Method: Teacher led discussion, textbook, internet and individual guidance




Warm up/Closure:
Warm up: What is the difference between a want and a need?
Closure: What are some wants that you may not be able to obtain?
Assessment: Participation, rubric, completed assignment, KWL, smart response, behavior, and time used

Modifications:
The required vocabulary will be modified. Slower learners will be paired with peers.
