Compare/Contrast Three Native American Leaders

Students will read three articles from PebbleGo. The articles are Sitting Bull, Chief Joseph, and Crazy Horse. After reading, the students will use two highlighters, one color to highlight how the three are the same and how they are different.

Students will go to power point and make the slide blank.

Students will then click on insert and go to shapes. They will then click on the oval shape and place is on the slide and make it into a circle.

Students will right click on the circle, click on fill to make it white. While on Shape Fill, click on the no fill box. then click on Shape Outline and make it black.

Students will then copy and paste the circle two times. The circles are then moved around to make a triple Venn Diagram. Students are able to adjust the size of the circles that they need for the diagrams.

Each circle needs to be labeled with one of the Native American names.

Using font 16, students will then input the compare/contrast information onto the Venn Diagram. If font is to large, students may decrease the font size.

When done imputing information, text in each part of the circles are to be put into different colors.

The outlines of each circle are to be put into different colors.

Students need to title their slide and insert their name.

Optional: Students print out Venn Diagram.
