Food Groups in our Lunch

1. Notify parents that you would like them to send a sack lunch with their student on a set date.
2. Provide a tally sheet to each student with the name of each food group.
3. Have the students work in groups of 4-5 and have them count/tally the number of each food group that they have.
4. Use Microsoft Excel (or similar) to put the data in a table and then use the program's chart tool to great a graph.
