Every week my lesson plan begins with my name, the grade level that I am teaching, and the date. The PE section of the lesson plan involves the standards for example Standard 1.1 Students demonstrate the motor skills and movement patterns needed to perform a variety of physical activity.
Language Arts: shows the unit, and chapter that I will be covering in each day based on the teacher's guide as well as the activities that the students will be able to do in each lesson.
The reading includes the reading strategies that we will be using each week for example, we use making connection, making prediction, asking question and so on. It also includes, RTI/Workshop whereby I do guided reading, sight words review, writing. This is where the students go to different centers, and this is when I differentiate my instructions based on my students' needs. In my lesson plan, I always include, lunch time, writing, math, science, social studies and ELD.
