Materials:
Laptop Computer (do not have)
Audacity
Multiplay for Windows

Procedures:
Students will break up into small teams of 4-5 to decide on a theme for their 5 minute soundscape. Teams will rotate through the use of the laptop to search for and upload their tracks. Teacher will use laptop to present a short demo on how to use the Audacity tools to manipulate soundtracks and effects. Teams will rotate and work in Audacity to create their soundscapes. All groups will work together with Multiplay to put together a group sound performance.


Desired Outcomes: Students will understand how to use technology to create a sound design.


Students will be able to create sound designs for our 5 show season.
