Students will be working in pairs to build a flipping robot.

Each pair will be given a kit that includes all materials needed and instructions.

Each pair must work together to understand the instructions and build accordingly.

Each pair will be given a chance to test their robot and make modifications to the design that will allow it to flip it's opponent in battle.

Working as a class we will design a race course and different battle oppertunities. Students will get to rate their robots on speed, agility, strength, and other cattegories that they can choose.

Students will use computer software to enter the results of their bots and make a graph comparing their different stregths.

Student will be led in a disscussion of their results. We will talk about outside factors that make have skewed the data (ie if someone is just better at controlling their robot does that mean that they actually found a way to make it faster/stronger)

Materials: Electronics
Other Items: 10 Robot Kits, $63.10 each, total of $631.00
