A portable projector would be used for many purposes in the classroom. I would use the technology to design lessons that engage children's multiple learning styles. It would allow me to incorporate the vast educational resources available to teachers on the Internet like Google Earth into classroom presentations. A priority would be to show children how to safely navigate the Internet and to conduct purposeful web searches. I would introduce children to myriad educational websites that supplement classroom studies and teach them how to effectively utilize the site. Ultimately, children would design computer based presentations based on their research and visually present it to the class.
