Why I need this:
I teach science to special needs students who also come from a disadvantaged background. When I introduce topics the students have a hard time understanding because of the lack of background knowledge. One the days I get to borrow a projector from another teacher, I am able to show the students images and video from the internet to help them understand the topics better. Budget cuts made it impossible for me to purchase a projector of my own. If I could get one in my classroom, I feel it would greatly impact my students understanding and education. |
