Why I Teach: I want to be able to assist children in going beyond what they have mastered in order to become life-long learners.

Classroom Description: During the 2011-2012 school year, I have the unique opportunity to teach a class of 4th grade girls which I will loop to 5th grade with during the 2012-2013 school year. Our Virginia Title I school has developed several single gender classes to best meet the different learning needs of girls and boys.
