Excellent!Bought due to an impending trip to rural france with the family, learning the basics in preperation. This app is becoming a firm fave as having travelled before it appears to cover the basics that will get you around the country, i also like how this works in flight mode when so many others need a live conection meaning that i can brush up whilst on the plane! Great user interface, very easy to use and most importantly... FREE! Only qibble is the speed of translation. Otherwise FANTASTIC!

It could be betterThe french is alright but the free version is very limited and if you're just a beginner they may speak too fast. I think it would be better if there was more variety in the free version. :-)

Perfect app for travelJust great to learn basic french on the go. Some poster complained that the full version wasn't free. Some people think programmers don't need to eat. App is worth the price!

Good but will over load beginners with too many phrases. The formal and informal pronouns 'vous' and 'tu' are falsely distinguished in some cases.
