May have caused boot loopAfter selecting multiple talks for download, my Galaxy Nexus shut down and got caught in a boot loop. Had to factory reset. I don't know whether TED is the real reason but since it happend on the day I used the app the first time and immediately after I selected 5 or 6 videos to download, it's quite obvious. totally fixed and easier to navigate than the TED site via a PCI said "Make it work and I'll be your biggest evangelist!". They did, so I AM now gonna promote the hell out of this app. Easily searchable by topic, by date, and by popularity. This makes the Breadth of subjects on TED not just watchable, but it connects you to similar topics to expand on your learning opportunity. My new Favorite app. I'd give it 20 stars if possible.

Liberal Bias on TEDIt's interesting how truth has a liberal bias, and facts have a liberal bias, and empirical evidence has a liberal bias, and now, even higher education has a liberal bias because it interferes with building the walls of ignorance required for breeding more crazy right wing people in this country.

Download feature doesn't work on froyo*UPDATE* Updated to latest version. Downloaded videos still don't work on 2.2 on a LG Optimus S, instead the page shows the streaming video which balks with an error message when the phone is "offline". There doesn't seem to be a way to actually access the downloaded videos. Following the links under the downloaded page takes you to the steaming page since the video on that page only streams. I've verified by accessing the "downloaded" videos while in airplane mode and received an error message indicating that I needed to be connected to a network in order to stream. I see issues reported for the iPad, but I didn't see anything android related on their site. Version installed is 1.0.3

Excellent app.Very nice app, has a "native" feel. Wish it could support horizontal browsing, as it doesn't seem that there's any real reason why it won't. Downloading for viewing offline is awesome; many content providers could learn from TED!
